FAQ
What is the AAI & REUZEit Partnership?
The American Association of Innovators (AAI) has partnered with REUZEit Technologies to provide free or heavily discounted high-tech equipment to startups, small businesses, and aspiring innovators. Together, we are creating access to the tools innovators need to launch and grow their ventures—especially for those transitioning into technology-driven careers.
How does AAI get free equipment?
REUZEit manages surplus equipment from some of the world’s largest companies. Much of this equipment is still fully functional and often donated as part of their corporate sustainability and circular economy programs. AAI receives this equipment through REUZEit's donation network, then allocates it to approved applicants based on availability and need.
Is the equipment really free?
Yes—qualified applicants receive equipment free of charge. However, recipients are responsible for shipping costs unless they qualify for shipping assistance.
Can I get free shipping too?
Possibly. AAI offers free shipping to applicants on a case-by-case basis depending on available donation funds. If we have received enough financial contributions to cover shipping expenses, we will allocate those resources to qualifying applicants, especially those facing economic hardship or launching nonprofit or educational initiatives.
How do I apply for equipment?
Visit AAI's application page and complete the application form. Be prepared to share information about your business, project, or learning goals so we can match you with the right equipment.
What types of equipment are available?
Inventory varies, but often includes scientific instruments, lab equipment, manufacturing tools, diagnostic devices, IT hardware, and more. AAI will provide a list of available categories and items once your application is approved.
